Every family has the right to know their government is responsibly spending their money to better the lives of all New Yorkers.

Responsible government involves developing trust and certainty within communities.

• Our state senator needs to be in the room when important decisions are being made.

• Our state senator needs to forge better partnerships between government entities.

• Our state senator needs to bridge divides among state government, local governments, politicians, and community groups.

We need a representative in Albany who will make our voices heard within the majority party of state government so we are not left behind. As real estate assessments boom and taxes mount, rural New York needs to get its fair share of resources back from Albany and into the hands of the people who know best what their communities need−local governments.
